About VidFinch
VidFinch is a free web tool that downloads videos, photos and GIFs from public posts on X (Twitter), Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, LinkedIn and Snapchat Spotlight, and converts videos to MP3 in the browser, with no account and no app.
We built it because most downloader sites are slow, full of fake buttons and pop-ups. Ours loads fast, shows no pop-ups, and works the same on phones and computers.
How it works
When you paste a link, we ask the platform for the post’s public data (the same thing anyone sees without logging in) and give you a direct download of the original file. We don’t log in to accounts, we don’t bypass privacy settings, and we don’t store the files.
