Twitter (X) Video Downloader – Save MP4 in HD

To download a video from X (Twitter): open the post, tap Share → Copy link, paste it in the box above and press Download. You get the highest-quality MP4 X has for that video. GIFs download as MP4 loops, and photos come in their original size. No account is needed.

How to download

Open the post on X (app or x.com).
Tap Share → “Copy link”.
Paste the link above and press Download.
Tap “Download video” (or image / GIF). On iPhone the file goes to Files → Downloads.

Why use it

Best quality MP4: X keeps several sizes of each video: we pick the one with the highest bitrate.
Photos in original size: Images download at full resolution, not the compressed timeline version.
GIFs included: X stores GIFs as short MP4 loops: you get that MP4, ready to share.
x.com and twitter.com: Old twitter.com links, mobile links and x.com links all work.

Supported formats

Content	Format	Quality
Video	MP4	Highest bitrate (up to 1080p), with audio
GIF	MP4 (loop)	As posted
Photo	JPG / PNG	Original size

Questions

Can I download X videos without an account?

Yes. Paste the post link: you don’t log in to X or to our site.

Why is my GIF an MP4 file?

X converts every GIF to a small MP4 video. That MP4 is the original file, and it plays everywhere.

Why does it say “post not found”?

The post may be deleted, from a protected (private) account, or age-restricted. Only public posts can be downloaded.

Does it work with posts that have several videos or photos?

Yes. Each video and photo of the post is listed and downloads separately.

Can I reuse videos from X?

Saving for personal viewing is generally fine. Reposting or commercial use needs the creator’s permission. Always credit them.
