Video to MP3 Converter

Turn any video into an MP3 in seconds. The conversion runs on your device, so your file is never uploaded.

Your file never leaves your device: the conversion runs in your browser.

To convert a video to MP3: open VidFinch Video to MP3, choose the video file (MP4, MOV, WEBM or MKV), pick a quality (192 kbps is a good default) and tap Convert. Your browser extracts the audio and encodes it to MP3 on your own device, then you download the file. Nothing is uploaded.

How to convert

  2. Choose the file, or drop it on the box.

Questions

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. The whole conversion runs in your browser and the file never leaves your device. That is why it also works for private videos.

How big can the file be?

Up to 1 GB. Long videos need more memory, so on a phone keep it under about an hour.

Can I convert an X (Twitter) or Pinterest video to MP3?

Yes: download the video with our downloader for that platform, then convert the file here.

Which quality should I choose?

192 kbps suits most uses. Choose 320 kbps for music and 128 kbps for speech or podcasts. No setting can make the sound better than the audio in the original video.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, in Safari. The MP3 is saved in the Files app → Downloads.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no account.
