Questions
Can I download private snaps or stories?
No. Only public Spotlight videos, which anyone can watch on snapchat.com without logging in.
Does the creator know I saved their video?
We don’t notify anyone, and we don’t log in to Snapchat. Still, respect the creator: ask before reposting.
Which links work?
snapchat.com/spotlight/… links and t.snapchat.com short links from the Share menu.
Why does it say “post not found”?
The Spotlight may have been removed, or the link points to something that is not a public Spotlight (like a profile).
Can I reuse Spotlight videos?
Saving for personal viewing is generally fine. Reposting or commercial use needs the creator’s permission.
